Dear Sir or Madam

We'd like to inform you that Google is discontinuing support of the Legacy Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) APIs. To ensure push notifications remain working for Teamwire users with Android devices, we needed to migrate the Legacy FCM APIs to HTTP v1.

What does this exactly mean for Teamwire OnPremise customers?

For your Teamwire OnPremise environment to deliver Google Push Notifications to Android devices, so far an FCM API key provided by us has been used.

Since Google is completely discontinuing support for the FCM API we will release corresponding changes with Backend update 18.9.0 that will allow your Teamwire environment to continue sending push notifications to Android devices.

Please update your Teamwire environment before 20 July 2024 to Backend Version 18.9.0 to ensure that push notifications will continue to be sent to your Android devices.

In case you have any further questions, feel free to open a ticket or send an email to support@teamwire.eu.

Best regards,

Your Customer Success team 🌟
