Introducing the Security PIN for customers

This information is addressed to all Teamwire customers and channel partners.


The protection and security of your data is our top priority. That's why we're informing you today about an additional security level we're introducing for phone inquiries - the Security PIN for customers.

 

 

What is the security PIN?

The PIN is a randomly generated, permanent 6-digit identifier, and shared between all employees of an organization or company.

 

 

When do you require the security PIN?

From 01.01.2024, the verification by security PIN becomes mandatory for all partners and customers in the following situations:

 

When contacting us by phone, and you want to consult sensitive information or make significant changes. This includes, for example:

 

  • Details about Teamwire Dashboard admins or users
  • Customer-specific Teamwire Dashboard configurations
  • Shares on customer servers
  • Licenses
  • Details about Knowledge Base accesses

 

After successfully validating your identity, we will assist you with your inquiries.

 

💡 Requests by email or opened with your Support Portal account will not require a verification by the security PIN.

 

 

How do you get your security PIN?

 

Log in on the Support Portal and open the drop-down menu in the upper right. Click on "Organisation" to access your organisation's details and the security PIN.

In case you don't have a support account yet, register and confirm your business email address to receive access to the "Organisation" section. In case your account has not been assigned to an organisation yet, you can add one in your Account data and define a security PIN by your own hand. Please note that you can not change this PIN later!
