This information is addressed to customers and Teamwire channel partners, which resign the Teamwire iOS app before deploying it within their organisation.

In the future, Teamwire will support the iOS 'Critical Alerts' notification feature when receiving a message marked as alert.

What does this mean for your app?

In order to use this feature with the future iOS app 5.0.0 release (expected Q2/2023), you will require to add a critical alerts notification entitlement to your app's provision profile. Please request this entitlement directly from Apple using your developer account.

In our Teamwire Wiki guide "Resign App for iOS", you can find a reference to an extended guide that further explains the steps to renew the provisioning profile including the entitlement for critical alerts.

ℹ️

What are critical alerts?

This feature supports notifications to come through even if the device is muted or a Focus has been set up. Users will have to allow receiving critical alerts per app.
