This information is addressed to all on‑premise and private cloud operators and Teamwire channel partners.

This year in May, we introduced you to the updated requirements for your Teamwire server environment.

For stable and high-performance operation, we strongly recommend implementing the system resources as described in the Backend Architecture document in the Teamwire Wiki.

These requirements will become mandatory on 01. January 2023 for further updates to your Teamwire server platform. From then on, software and updates can only be properly installed, if your server environment meets the minimum requirements.

It is important that you read the updated specifications carefully and adapt your server environment until the reference date.

The Backend Architecture document and system requirements are available here in the Teamwire Wiki.

Why were the server requirements updated?

Due to numerous new features for our apps and dashboard plus our plans in further development, we found it was necessary to update the system requirements for the Teamwire Server setup.

We have evaluated various use cases and updated the server requirements for on‑premise and private cloud installations accordingly. The new Backend Architecture document provides an overview of the recommended deployment methods and hardware specifications depending on the number of users you want to host. We have sized the requirements to accommodate prospective changes up to and including API 18.
