We are excited to introduce you to the latest version of the Teamwire Dashboard.
We have revised the Retention Settings section and are presenting you with a new, improved, and clearer layout! Furthermore, we have expanded the retention period options for you, to make your data storage even more efficient.
💡 Please note that these changes may affect your current settings. Therefore, take a moment to review the new features and policies to ensure that the settings meet your requirements.
New options overview
- New Audit log retention setting
You can now set a retention period for audit logs in this section
- Retention Policy for Messages on the user's devices
Previously, this setting had to be set in the App Permissions section. Now all the retention period settings are in one section with more descriptive labels and explanation.
- Devices Retention Settings
Formerly: Client Messages Retention
- For organisations with varying retention periods across platforms, we've selected the highest previously defined value as the new standard device retention setting.
- We are removing retention options shorter than 7 days (1, 2, and 4 days) from the devices retention settings. Organisations with a devices retention period shorter than 7 days, will have their setting automatically updated to 7 days.
- Database Retention Settings
Formerly: Organisation Messages Retention
- We have increased the minimum values for the database retention periods. The available options for the server database vary from 30 days up to 3 years.
- We are removing retention options shorter than 30 days (1, 2, 4, 7, 14 and 21 days). Organisations with a retention period shorter than 30 days, will have their setting automatically updated to 30 days.
- Organisations with the retention period set to 'Always', will have their retention period automatically updated to 3 years, which is our maximum retention option.
